Gentle vertical crowding

An innovative vertical crowding solution that puts fish welfare at the heart of the process. By eliminating the need for pumps, the solution uses a submersible penning grid that is gently raised upwards. The fish see the water surface and are gently guided over the edge of the tank using a siphon. This process ensures full control with minimal stress and maximum safety for the fish during crowding and transfer. The method has shown very good results, with calm fish quickly adapting and immediately starting to eat after transfer. This sets a new standard for gentle fish logistics in land-based farming.
